Mac

Two versions — pick the one that matches your Mac's chip.

Not sure which chip your Mac has?
  1. Click the Apple menu (top-left corner of your screen) → About This Mac.
  2. A small window opens. Look for the line labelled Chip (newer Macs) or Processor (older Macs).
  3. If it says Apple M1, M2, M3, or M4 — you have Apple Silicon.
If it says anything with Intel in it — you have an Intel Mac.

Every Mac sold since late 2020 is Apple Silicon. Every Mac sold before mid-2020 is Intel. Machines from the 2020–2022 crossover could be either.

  1. Double-click the downloaded .zip. PIMS.app appears next to it.
  2. Drag PIMS.app into your Applications folder.
  3. Open PIMS from Applications and sign in with your Auriga email.
If macOS refuses to open it: right-click (or Control-click) PIMS.app → OpenOpen. macOS asks once per install; after that it opens like any other app.
Picked the wrong version? No harm done — an Intel build won't open on an Apple Silicon Mac (and vice versa) but nothing else breaks. Just come back here and grab the other one.

Windows

  1. Run the installer.
  2. If Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More infoRun anyway.
  3. Open PIMS from the Start menu and sign in with your Auriga email.
